My 190 also has a Yamaha 115 four stroke and a factory "T" top but hits 39.5-40 MPH @ 6000 RPM-GPS speed. Without the weight of the T top and the add'l wind resistance it causes i would expect you to be hitting 40+ MPH. Is your boat proped right? Is 35 MPH a gauge or GPS reading? Might be worth looking into.
