All,

I'm trying to understand this thread as it relates to my own situation. I was out last weekend and the livewell overflowed. When I pulled the boat in at the dealer's boat ramp I asked them to look it over. They told me that it was not intended to recirculate and that I was to fill it part way and then turn off the pump - this by doesn't make sense. When I looked in the livewell there was the drain plug and also another "port" which I assume was the inlet that fills the tank (the black port that can be seen in NJWardy's post earlier). I don't understand why the pvc addition on NJWardy's post if this is where the water comes from to fill the tank. Is there an outlet that prevents overflow? I saw some other posts that talk about a stand pipe which seems logical that it would replace the drain plug.

Thanks in advance.
