You would be better off checking you manual for towing capacities of the Jeep. When you figure the weight of the boat, don't forget to add the trailer, motor, fuel and other items. Check with a dealer for those weights. I have a 195 DC the boat itself weighs about 2000 lbs, when you add all the other stuff I'm pulling about 3600 lbs. Obviously the 215 would be more.
