I have had a Bay 190 for 5 years. If you are fishing the canals in LA, I would probably not get a t-top as wind can push you around a bit. I use mine in lakes, bays, rivers and the Gulf as far out as 40 miles when it's 1-2's.

Before you buy used, call Triumph with the hull VIN # and make sure the warranty is transferable as a lifetime warranty is a big selling point.

I have had some screws pull out, in the rear flip top seats/lids/ casting deck. I just replaced with longer fatter screws and no problems since. The newer Bays have a different design so may not be an issue anymore. Definitely not a "problem"

Warping, I just have not seen it. Triumph has improved the trailer bunk schemes to include a "bow" support and they added it to my trailer as part of their warranty.

The price will depend and your haggling ability. I would get a boat with minimal options and add them "out of pocket" as seasonal projects if you are handy with a drill etc. But, that's all up to you$$$$$
