I have a 170CC with the tall bow rails and had the center cut back about 4" before the first stanchion to allow for the trolling motor mount. this setup won't allow the scissor type of application. you have to use one of the slide in units like the Minn Kota Terrova. I put mine on a removable plate so I could take it off when I am not fishing the boat. I will try to get a picture of my setup in tomorrow afternoon. I am really happy with mine.
