Back up solenoid

I put a manual valve in the line instead of the electrically operated solenoid valve because I didn't want to connect a wire to the back up light circuit and rig up a 5 wire connection. The other option, as mentioned, is putting the pin in place to keep the surge actuator from compressing as you are backing up.

You should also verify that your mechanic modified the valve in the actuator for pressure bleed off, or changed the actuator for one set up for disk brakes.
