[Old Barney]

I just about near froze to death yesterday but got my new 195CC home safely! Barnegat Bay had one of her nasty chops days to greet me...I could not believe how well the boat took the chop and gave me a very smooth and dry ride. It has been raining since last night and is predicted to continue for the next few days...Welcome to New Jersey.
Based on wind and weather I doubt there will be chance for any more engine break in time until late Sunday or Monday. The only issue I had at delivery was the throttle control...It was way to loose for me. The dealer made some adjustment, but I will have to fine tune (he showed me how) next time out. Yamaha ran great right on test specs for prop size, etc.
I noticed one other item with the windshield when I got her home...Seems like front enclosure plastic was right up against the windshield for several days before delivery and left some marks (like smudges or scratches) in several places where they touched. I tried plain water but couldn't get them off. Any of you guys have any such issues or can recommend what type of product might clean them off the windhield? How do you keep these acrylic windscreens in good shape?
Overall, I'm very pleased so far...Will get back with more info as soon as the rain stops!!
