I have a 2004 210 Chaos (purchases new) that until recently has been kept on a trailer. I always noticed a little water on the bilge but never thought much about it. Now that I am retired, and the boat is in the water a lot more, I have come to realize that the bilge actually kicks in regularly to pump this water out. Upon close inspection I found that the water is coming around the large brass baitwell drain where the fitting goes through the hull. The fitting is very solid. It appears to me that the boat left the factory this way. It looks like a bit of a job to fix as the flange is secured with a huge nut that can only be accessed with a deep socket. Has anyone else had a problem with this? Would this be something covered under the hull warranty?
