If you have not changed a thing, the problem just cropped up, try resetting as others have suggested. If that doesn't work, check the plug between the wire harness and the display unit. Check for corrosion. If none, than I would suspect the transducer. Remember wires go into the transducer, and although they seem sealed, over time, just a very small amount of salt water will corrode the innerworkings of the transducer.

Perhaps someone else has the same unit and you could take your display out and try on another boat. If it works, you eliminate one suspect.
