I hope to make a purchase soon and be a real member. I have read most posts and great info and support here. I'm looking at a 150CC was looking at a 50 hp Honda(205lbs) or a 60 Yamaha four stroke(237lbs), maybe 50HP Evinrude etec(240 lbs). I have seen that most like to put the more HP as possible on their boats, but I was concerned about the weight on this boat is the 237 going to make this boat sit low in the water. Also I want to use this boat for slow trolling to run a trotline for crabbing. Will these motors run well slow for this purpose? As always any advice from the experts is appreciated. Warranty for the Honda and etec are 5 years, Yamaha 3 years also has me thinking.
