JB, I have ran @ 150nm on what the fuel gauge called 3/4 tank of gas with a Suzuki 140. I bet, though, I didn't have a full 1/4 tank left but havn't tested to see how far the needle goes.
Like down here in the Gulf, your best offshore fishing looks to be @30 miles out but will vary with the seasons and target species, at least in July.
I am the last one to tell you how to fish Southport though as we fished TBOT and got skunked, but my wife couldn't handle the 30 mile run out......being pregnant! Enjoyed "Provisions" though and had a fun time.
Your Bay 190 is real versitile, not too heavy to tow and launch by yourself and can be set up to fish just about anything inshore/offshore....watersports....family cruising/swimming. Make sure it has a swim platform as the kids love 'em.
