Hi boost. The scupper drains only the inboard floor deck drains. I talked to a Triumph tech today, trying to determine the source of a water leak on my 2002 190Bay. Some of the questions I asked him concerned those holes in the transom that you are asking about. To repeat, the scuppers you see on the outside of your transom drain only the interior floor deck. There will be another 2 drains in the transom that you can clearly see drain only the "wash back" area where the motor is mounted. They are the two highest holes on your transom. The Triumph tech told me that the 2 holes that you are asking about, the one on the port was the for the bilge, and the other was for a fuel overflow. I cannot verify this, but this is what I was told. In addition, you might not be aware of a couple of other openings in your hull. On the transom, down almost to the bottom, is a "ledge", where the hull protudes out and then towards the very bottom the hull goes in a few inches. Underneath this "ledge" is a very large approx. 1 1/2 inch hole that apparently drains the livewell. At least it does on my '02. In addition to the holes in the hull that I've spoken about, there are two more small ones, one on each side of the forward hull underneath the fish boxes. Lastly, (again, on my 2002) there is yet one more hole in the hull, on the very bottom, slightly on the port side, and forward of the transom a couple of feet. I was told this is the raw water intake for the livewell and the raw water washdown pump. Having said all that, I have a question for you. Do you have the same holes that I described, OR is there an additional 2 holes on the very bottom of the transom, about 5 or 6 inches to either side of the centerline? I'm still trying to figure out where my water intrusion is coming from. I'm getting there, but haven't got it solved it yet. I highly suspect the raw water intake port on the very bottom. Hope this helps, wish the crappie were biting here!
