I have beached my 170CC on a rocky shoreline of a lake that we like to fish after all the docks have been removed prior to winter. I was concerned about the wave action (it's always windy there) driving my boat against the rocks but couldn't find a scratch when I got it up on the trailer. It may get nicked up from running it up on the sand, etc but that's nothing to worry about. The Roplene is the same color all the way through so you will not even see it unless you are really looking for it. Beaching the boat for a short time (several hours) will not hurt the hull at all. Long term (several days to weeks at a time) might be a different story. The hull needs to be supported for long term storage.
If that's your only concern, buy the boat and don't look back. These boats can handle that and tons more.
Good luck with your search.
