Well, I guess it was the excitement of putting my new boat in the water 2 weeks ago that caused the confusion about making the washdown adapter work. This past weekend I was able to complete the task as per factory instructions, no problem,
and gave my boat a quick hose down after fishing.Thanks to all for their suggestions and to Triumph for their tolerance with an excited new owner.
