When I towed my 170CC home from Orlando, I removed the rear seat cushions and the rear lids opened up too.
Since that time, I keep the rear cushions on. Because the front of the cushion slides on and the rear snaps on, I don't see a problem. However, I do remove the front bow cushion and all other flyable objects.
I've seen the "clips" at Wal Mart in their marine/auto department and west marine. You should be able to find them anywhere. Don't forget to use Rule sealent in the screw hole. You can purchase the sealent at
