Hi Guys,

I decided to leave the rod holder alone. I used some SS fishing leader, wrapped one end around a rod holder screw, put some more Rule in and tightened down. I rivited the other end of the leader to the rod cap.

I figured that the foam held the rod holder in so well, if I messed with it, and removed it, when it went back in, it might move around.
