You can do amazing things with schedule 40 PVC also. Make the frame out of a couple of "T"s, two 90 elbows and a little straight stock. The bottom of the straight part of the T can be cut to snap over the SS railing you already have. One SS hose clamp per side and it stays put. You can mount rod holders or be creative with more PVC fittings. Kind of fun to design and real cheap. Doesn't rust either. Just a thought guys.
