K9reno, I put outriggerson my 210 along with some other mods.I closed the bottom of the base with dip-it the stuff you use on plier handels and the like 4 or 5 coats sealed it right up. no water can leak into the foam.If you put a small inspection cover below the outrigger mounting spot you can beef up the under side of the gunnel area i used a 1/4" alluminum plate.hope this helps !!!
