If for some reason it stained it deep into the surface you probably will never get it out. I cannot imagine though how it would have soaked that far into the roplene. I was going to tell you to try lighter fluid but if goo gone didnt do it then it is the sanme as lighter fluid. Also if it is indeed a fuel stain, any water or clorine based cleaner will not penitrate it. It needs to be a hydrocarbon based substance to react with the fuel. Remember fuel and water dont mix. Maybe turpintine on tissue and let it sit a while or kerosene. Something clear like that. Wish I had more info to help.
