Fished the Waquoit area (Cape Cod south side). I used to go there every year with my sea kayak for non stop action. See video from last year outing at

Anyway as expected the blues are in by the million. They are feeding on squid but would hit anything that splashes and makes some noise. Great fishing on adreanline when they hit that surface plug. Attach is the pic of the first fish ever, passing over the gunwall of the boat. I hooked it and gave the rod to my buddy to fight it. That's team work. He was visiting from France and had never done any saltwater fishing ever in his life. He is now hooked for life. It was great, fast and furious fishing. I got lazy and did not break the fly fishing rod. We used surface plugs the all day. I am going back on Saturday.
