Considering a Triumph

I first came to this web site to learn more about Triumph boats because I will be buying one in the near future, hopefully a 210. I realize that a lot of the people on this site are like me and do not yet own a Triumph but are considering buying one. When I first got on this site and heard about the storage areas leaking, screws popping out, water in the hull, etc. Intially it scared me as I am sure it has other non owners. But I happened to realized that the boat I own now, a 2003 .100 gauge Aluminum Tracker Targa 17 Deep V, has many more problems than the Triumph owners have. I have had screws pop out, the "easy" removable seats take a sledge hammer to remove, the ride in a 2' chop will beat your internal organs right out of you, I have dents all over it where I have bumped piers and other objects, the fish finder did not work the day I got it, the AM/FM radio must have come from a toy store, none of the storage compartments have any seals around them and they all leak. None of this ever bothered me. Just assumed it was part of having a boat. But yet when I initially read about Triumph boats it concerned me, until I woke up.

Guess the point I am trying to make is for those of you who are considering buying a Triumph don't let these minor complaints by owners bother you. Just ask a Triumph owner the bottom line, as I have done, would you buy another one and most will say "YES". Also, check out some of the other boat owners web sites and you will find that they have a lot of complaints too. I love to hear the owners on this site talk with such passion about their boats. Cannot wait to get one.
