Silver mounting plate

Fischer/Rick,
I will get the pictures posted. Until then, here's what I did. I removed the center main deck screw at the base of the casting deck. I screwed the riser into the hole until it bottomed out. I then slipped the silver mounting plate over the riser and screwed it into the casting deck between the front fish boxes using the four screw that came with it. This gives it two solid places where it is mounted to the boat. The chair (I opted for a leaning post type) then fits into the riser by way of the 3/4" pin on the seat post. When you don't want the seat, just pull it out...the riser stays. It is the same height as the casting deck so there's nothing to trip over. My front bow cushion snaps around the riser and it doesn't get in the way at all. I know the pictures will be better than the explanation so I'll try to get them posted tonight. Hope this was helpful.
