I presume that the motor comes with power trim and you understand the use. It may not be apparent how to use it if you came off a smaller boat, as was my case. The other thing to do is get a fin - Doel, Sport, or Bobs Machine. Not sure it matters much, and it seems to be well agreed on this site that it will definately help. Lastly your prop may part of the problem. My 170 CC with a 70 hp has a 19 pitch (13x19), and I know I could back down to a 17 pitch. A 13 pitch sounds real aggressive and it may not produce enough speed to push the bow down. Iwould have the dealer put a 15 or 17 pitch on to see if that helps. Then you add the fin to take full advantage.
