hull dflections on bottom of 190 bay at bow end of boat

Dick
I have a 2002/190 bay boat that has hull deflections on bottom of hull near bow end.I notified the factory and they sent me a v-bunk (about 8 inches long )to be mounted to the front of the trailer. they told me that this v-bunk would take the stress off the hull and that the hull would eventially reform to original shape due to propelene having a memory. My question is have you seen this on any boats in your area and will this fix actually work?PS. I bought the boat new and it was like this when I took delivery but so were the other 4- 190's on their lot so I thought this was just the way the boat was designed. PSS> I now know that this is not part of the original design.

I would send a pic but I don't yet know how to do that on this site.[/img]
