Alas --the disadvantages of getting early model year versions of the 210cc.
i moved the inlet from the bottom of the well to the top by cutting a new hole there and installing an inlet fitting that has a valve built into it so i can keep the pump running at a flow rate not to overflow the well .i had to splice a short piece of tubing up to the new inlet and having put a 12x14 access door there helped in making this possible. i plugged the bottom orig. inlet hole and still have to drain the well onto the deck. i plan on either putting a drain plug in the bottom orig inlet hole and running a hose on the side that will allow me to tee into the 2" overflow hose in the bilge or cut a new drain hole in the bottom of the well and teeing into the 2" hose.
either will require pulling the well unit from the deck and i will wait till i have to repair the screw holes that hole this unit down to the deck. i have 2 screws that have failed and so it won't be long before i pull the unit.
forgot to see if i posted any pics on this mod of if they are still in the camera. check my photo album and see it they are any there
you have any plans of going to oregon inlet later to chase the ocean stripers. i try to go weather permitting most weekends from jan-mar
try to see you there if you plan a trip
