Daiwa Coastal inshore reel

I recently purchased a Daiwa Coastal inshore baitcasting reel and matched it with a Falcon Coastal rod and I'm very satisfied with this set-up. I live in South Louisiana and fish mostly inshore bays for redfish and speckled trout. This reel is basically a bass-style reel with a few enhancements to last longer in a salt water environment. Very smooth reel with a good drag and the Falcon rod is the best that I've ever used. I took a chance on this reel because I haven't heard much about them, but so far so good. I've caught nice sized speckled trout and even a 18lb bull red which the reel handled great. I typically fish with Ambassedeurs, but this reel is much lighter and smoother. I hope it can withstand the saltwater conditions that I fish in.
