Maybe we should really classify it as a "Service Action" since...

Warranty = Defect in Materials or Workmanship (this no matter if it is a Car, Boat, or TV) but not necessarily related to a design flaw.

Recall = Safety related item that has notices sent to all effected owners.

Service Action = Repairs or modifications paid for by either the Factory or the Dealership in the interest of Customer Satisfaction / Retention . In other words, the customer does not pay for the repair Not to be confused though with an actual "Warranty Claim" from a actual part failure... The fish box was not "broken" they just did not drain.

How does that sound?
