our coastal sounds between the mainland and the "outer banks" barrier islands average 12-20ft and can be 20 miles wide in places where we fish for red drum. imagine 20 mph winds traveling 20 miles in 12ft water create 4-6 ftrs seemingly every 1/2 second!!!!!!!. oh to have 1-2 ftrs like you gulf guys have most of the time
that was why i dont recommend 190's if the boater plans on using it in our sounds.
