What is the farthest you've been out?
I am ready to buy, just wandering how far the hardcore guys have been out. I really like the 215 for easy trailering, maint. and total cost next to the bigger more expensive boats. At the same time I need to make sure I won't outgrow her in one or two years. The majority of my fishing (for now) is within 30 to 60 miles out (local islands) in addition to an occasional river or lake run. (Southern Ca.) I know conditions dictate the distance most of all but just curious how far realistic #'s are for fuel and safety considerations.
Is there a thread or forum for So. Cal. owners? I would jump at the chance to go play for a day. I have no problem pitching in some $$$ for your troubles, Thanks.
