Cavitation? Do you mean ventilation? Ventilation is when the prop is venting air and the rpm jumps and speed dies. Is the motor trimmed all the way down past the point where it makes initial contact with the tilt/trim piston rods? Is the motor shaft long enough? Have you contacted the dealer?
