Re-thinking the situation, I might take the boat/trailer to a truckstop with scales and see how much it weighs. Thinking anything under 3,300 lbs might be acceptable with the four stroke and full tank of gas and 5 batteries. At last use, the boat didn't sit any deeper in the water than usual but if the lower hull foam is saturated, it might not sit any deeper anyway....it all water right?
Anyone else been thru this? Will truck stops let me weigh the boat? How much do they charge on average?
Thanks for any advice, I hope the weight is fine and I can just reseal the spot. Anybody from Triumph or Merritt Marine out there with suggestions?
Thanks, Emery
