Thanks for the reply’s guys. Here’s where I stand. I removed the rear deck plate for better access and punctured the “glob” with a knife and somewhat like a blister she began to run water from the puncture.

I cut the glob away and found the (stainless) plates. There are actually two plates bolted together. The plate has rust approx. ¾ 0f the way up. There is a gap on each side of the plate between the plate and the plastic.

I don’t know how far this plate and it’s corresponding ditch runs up the hull but as Dick said it goes under the gas tank and has rust as far as I can see.

The boat bow has been elevated enough to put sawhorses past the winch. We have been running water from the ditch for two days, slowly; it runs enough to flow out the bilge drain into a bucket.

I feel the entire length of the plate ditch is full of water. But where is it coming from? Apparently the Rule goo is not good enough or applied properly to seal the ditch. I think the water into the mega hatch may get in the ditch and also gets into the foam at the transom.

This could be a source of water we always contributed to the rod holders.

Does anyone have a number for customer service at Triumph.

I have photos in the Gallery showing the glob as I found it to what I have now. Sorry the shots loaded right to left. I hope you can figure them out. Any suggestions Dick?
