I've towed both skier and tubes (at different time, of course
). I use a tow yoke like this one from Cabelas:

Just hook it to your transom tie down rings and your tow rope to the yoke and your set. Works great and floats so you don't have to worry about getting tangled in your prop. I hope this helped.
