I've recently installed the new stainless bilge plugs. Still get a couple quarts of water out after keeping boat in water overnight.

I did switch to the ball/cup side scuppers and think they work better than anything so far vs plugging up the holes completely. Still think most water enters indirectly....swimmers coming in.....rain/dew/wet areas harboring water till the boat is trailered/moved and directly from the scuppers thru the cracks in the deck and into the bilge.

The way the bilge is situated, the pump sets up off the lowest portion thereby never removing all the water until we pull the plugs and get "a couple of quarts".

Everyone needs an inner hull drain since the inner hull is not sealed off, water migrates past the foam and to the hull. I got a 5 gallon bucket full after letting it drip for a month tilted up on the trailer. Very easy to do, just buy a new bilge plug first (not the old brass type!) just like your others. You will want to pull this plug just like the other two.
