Winch strap angle of pull
i have read that the angle of pull on the winch strap should be an up ward pull on the bow. on my 2003 190 cc the boat is set up on the trailer to all the factory specifications.The boat loads well and sit the trailer the way it should. the problem (if it is a problem) is the wnich has a slight downward pull when boat is up tight to bow bumper. in order to correct and give winch an up ward pull i would have to put a 3 inch block directly under winch to raise it in in order to get that upward pull. Any other adjustment to winch stand would go against factory settings. Is this something that i should be concerned with. My hull has some slight deflection but not nothing serious no cracks. trailer has factory modification front v support on bow.
