In answer to the original post. I purchased a 190CC and had a choice of a skeeter CC or the bay, while the skeeter was $1000.00 more in price. I liked the layout of the bay better. After listening to several friends at work who fish alot of tournaments talk about having to take their boats to the shop and spend a couple hundred dollars to get their gel coat repaired I was glad to have and buy something requiring less maintenance. I have kids and after experincing what they can do to the side of a $40,000 truck I did not want to see what they could to gel coat. I wanted a boat that my wife would not be scared in would ride smooth even in chop and my bay has accomplished both. While I my have not owned my boat long enough to count I will stand by this if I had wanted a porche I would have paid for one I wanted an inexpensive boat for the family but not a used boat as I have been left in the middle of the lake in a skeeter. Rockman I work for a major helicopter manufacture and I am a flight supervisor ( and a liscensed acft mechanic) you would be suprised by what damage and repairs are accomplished on new acft and still sold as new by the company even Cessna. Buy your boat whatever brand that might be and enjoy it because no matter what it is there will always be a better boat.
