bilge pump automatic switch
I have been using our Logic 2000 - 15 ft. for several years and now discover bilge accumulating water...Not sure of a hull leak yet but working on that. I did find a cracked seal on one of the drain plugs which when replaced has cut down on the water intrusion but I'm not convinced that is the only source. The automatic bilge switch seems to have failed but I cannot for the life of me find its location to replace. Do I need to take up the deck to find it or has someone got a better idea? The way the bilge used to cycle makes me think the automatic switch is a conductive type rather than a "float" mercury type. In any event does anyone know where to look for it?
