He really could use a GPS/Sounder. All electronics need to be Waterproof on this boat since it will be exposed on the center console. I go out in the gulf consistantly 30-50 miles offshore on 1-3' days and use the front fishing chair alot on reefs w/o a bow rail since the trolling motor wouldn't work with it in the way. Had the bimini with removable hardware but never removed it then moved up to a custom T-top with rocket launchers to get the reels up and away. The custom job was $500 less than stock. Would also recc leaning post with back rest since the cooler seat does a poor job keeping ice. Swim platform is really nice to have since it is really tough to get into this boat from the water. You can buy one onsale sometimes and just custom bend the rails to fit exactly for less than $90 vs $200+. That what many dealers have done too. The Bay 190 is a very versitle boat good in bays, rivers, lakes and moderate offshore since it rides high in the water and has a decent draft. Easy to customize any Triumph for whatever he likes.
