Problems logging in, photo uploads, etc.

If you are having any technical problems logging into our site or uploading photos, whatever, please send me an email at Tech Support and please include these details:

1. Internet Browser you are using
2. PC/Mac Operating System (Win95, 2000, XP, OSX, etc.)
3. Description of the problem
4. Where on the site you're having the problem
5. Anything else you think might help narrow down the problem.

Everything seems to be working on my end, but I won't know there is a problem for you unless you tell me. I'm glad to help if I can and appreciate your being a part of the Triumphowners.net online community.

If you log onto the site and then get kicked out or get an error message saying something to the effect that you have to be a registered member to view images, etc. then you probably have a "cookie" problem with your Internet browser and you need to delete the cookies then log back into the site and select the "Remember Me" button beside your login username/password.

If you don't know how to delete the cookies you have two options, follow the manual deletion instructions below or run an automatic script that I've uploaded to our site.

1) To run the automatic script go to:

http://www.triumphowners.net/forums/mycookies.php

This will bring up the cookies in a list. Select them then choose to delete them. Then log back into the site and select the "Remember Me" button.

2) If you'd like to manually delete the cookies follow these instructions:
In Internet Explorer select: Tools -> Internet Options -> Temporary Internet Files -> Settings -> View Files

Then search for the individual cookies for our domain (triumphowners.net) and delete them all. (username=your username on the site). The name should be in the form of:

Cookie:username@triumphowners.net
and
Cookie:username@www.triumphowners.net

...and any derivatives of the above. Then highlight the individual cookies and delete each one found. After this, close all browser windows and restart IE, login and select the "Remember Me" button.
