Should Triumphowners.net photos be watermarked?

I think whatever is done in terms of a watermark it needs to be done so that it can't be cropped or removed easily. Putting it in the corner is a fairly easy thing to remove...just my $0.02.

Randy is it not possible to set the web site so that the images cannot be copied from the pages. I have run into site where copy and paste of images was locked out.

Yes I can easily do that and that would be my preference if others are okay with it. In fact I'm going to turn that on now and if I get any complaints we'll reevaluate. Thanks Dick.

Once I can see the image on your computer - It's able to be taken!

Basically there is almost nothing you can do to stop someone from taking the image. So no need to waste time implementing it.

The basic attempts at disabling copying are simply an annoyance to someone who wants it.

Here's why - the images are transfered and they are in your cache. Also the simpler short cut is <ctrl><prtscr> and "poof" what your looking at is on your clipboard. Even embedding in flash, etc does not help

Thats why watermarks and digimarcs exist! I run into this issue with clients
on almost a daily basis!!
