Exclamation PLEASE update your account email address or you may get "bounced"

I sent out an email last night to all the membership of the site. I won't do that often but it was interesting to see some of the responses. There were a couple of folks who had joined to check out what others were saying about Triumph Boats and ended up buying another brand and asked to be removed. We wish them well and appreciate their time visiting us.

There were also a handful of folks whose email was returned because their mailbox was full! If you are not receiving your email these days it is probably because you need to set your email program (in the tools/options menu) to remove email after it is downloaded to your computer. You can set this to happen immediately or after a certain amount of time. But if you don't remove email from the email server eventually you will max out your email account allotment (ususally 10-20MB) and all of your email will be rejected by the server. Just thought I'd pass that on to anyone having trouble receiving email.

There were a number of folks whose email was returned because the address was incorrect. A couple I could figure out but others I couldn't. Many folks change email addresses from time to time to stay ahead of the spammers. If you have changed your email address in the past year please check your "User CP" settings to make sure we have your current address in your account.

Exclamation PLEASE update your email address on your account or you may get suspended...

I would ask everyone to take a minute and check to make sure that the email address that you have in your User Control Panel record is correct. Go to "User CP" and "Edit Email & Password" or this link. if the email address listed is your current address and it works then you do not have to do anything. If the address listed is no longer active, then please enter your password in the top line then enter a correct, current, active email address in the bottom two entry lines and submit the change.

If you do not have a working email address on your account then all thread subscription notices, Private Message notices, etc. that are sent to you get kicked back to me. It is a bit of a bother. Seeing as how this site is free and all it doesn't seem like too much to ask that members keep their email address current. If there are members that that have email that continues to be kicked back to me I may suspend their account.

If you do have a valid email address listed in the User CP, but you have a email SPAM filter or blocker, be sure to allow 'admin@triumphowners.net' to send you email.
