Is your account "Bounced"?

I sent an email out to our membership yesterday (something that we don't do often obviously) and had over 300 email addresses returned as "undeliverable" because the email account did not exist, the mailbox was full, etc. Those user accounts have been moved to the "bounced" user group. That doesn't mean that they've been bounced off the site. It means that their email address was bounced back to our server so they were moved to that user account until a valid email address is entered. If you log into the site and get a Private Message about being bounced, just follow the instructions to correct your email address.

Exclamation Is your account "bounced"?

I sent an email to our Captains Club Member subscribers today about the family/fishing photo request from Triumph Boats. I had a handful of emails bounced back to our server as undeliverable and therefore those accounts were "Bounced". If your account is showing up as "Bounced" please update your email address in your User CP or email the new address to me so I can update your account for you. If you update it let me know so I can manually change your usergroup assignment from Bounced to Captains Club Member. Please help me with this by keeping an active email address in your User CP record and make sure if you have email SPAM filters that you allow email from admin@triumphowners.net. Thanks!

Periodically I have to remind folks to be sure that your email address is current and that you have set up your email client to accept email from admin@triumphowners.net. We currently have several folks that have registered for a free account but they have not verified their email addresses so their registration is pending in a mail que. If you registered but your account has not been activated please send me an email so we can confirm that your email address is active and accepting email from us. I have emailed these registrants more than once about their pending accounts, but if our emails are being routed to a SPAM mailbox then we are not able to activate the account.
