Hi all. We've had almost 500 Captains Club Member subscription registrations since January and the site is growing. I've noticed that many subscribers choose to not be visible on our Captains Club Map. I would like to encourage all members to check your profile and choose "Yes" to the "Visible on Maps?" Question. For the second question "Street Address visible in profile and maps?" choose "No" unless you are a Triumph dealer or sponsor that would like your actual street address shown. If this is set to No and the first question is set to yes your location on the map will de determined by zip code only and will not show your actual address.
It would be cool though to see where all our members are generally located in the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia and France.

Thanks, it was a lot easier to find once I knew what I was looking for. Now I know I'm not alone all the way out here.

Hi Randy,
I have a problem with my state details ... if I type NE for New South Wales, it looks like i'm in Nebraska (or sumsuch) So I tried NS ... and now i'm in Texas (Howdy Pardner!) it's a cost effective way to see your part of the world, but it makes it hard to locate any other Aussies. The only one showing is in Queensland (Qu) ... how didn't he end up in Quebec? Anyway ... if you can make me visible i'd appreciate it, thanks.

Thanks for letting me know this Whitto. One thing you can do now to make it work is to find an approximate Lattitude and Longitude number for your location and enter that in the Lat/Long fields in your User Profile. Most folks will leave those fields blank and their locations will be approximated based on their zip codes and if they choose by their street address. Entering a value in the Lat/Long fields overrides the zip code locations.
I obviously need to adjust the program a bit by creating some new data fields to accommodate Triumph around the world. I'll fix this and get back to you.

Thanks Randy,
Your GPS idea worked
