How about October 3-4?
Update folks... Denard Harris of Portside Marina, our host at this years Triumph Boat Owners Tournament, just let me know that October 3-4 is a good weekend for the event as well. It is the Seafood Festival weekend. So I've added that date to the poll. You can choose more than one date so if you've already voted you can click on change vote and vote again.
I would like to nail down the weekend this week so please vote soon! Thanks.

I want to nail down a weekend for this with Triumph and with Portside Marina. If you have any possibility of coming any one or more of these weekends please add your vote now. You can vote for more than one date. If you've already voted but want to add an additional day or change your vote, you can choose to remove your vote in order to vote again. I would love for us to have at least a dozen boats attending. Otherwise maybe we should wait till next Spring? If you can make it fall fishing should be better than the July fishing we've had in years past.

Hi NC,
I could make most dates, however, unless I get some more work, money will be tight for a while, which means, no travel. Well, I'll keep playing lotto. You never know.

NC, I have to see what the weekend will be looking like the week ahead of the Tournament. A buddy and I will come down if I do not have to work.... I guess that is not a bad thing but I have had no time to really spend on the water with the new boat. Last year when I had no boat I had all the time in the world.....jb

Hi folks. I have been waiting for a decision from Triumph Boats on the best weekend in late September, early October for a Triumph Boat Owners Tournament. You'll remember that we postponed the tournament from July. It was decided today to postpone the tournament this year altogether. We only had a few folks that showed an interest in the tournament this fall, possibly related to the economy and fuel prices.
I hope we can nail down a date for next years event early in 2009 so that folks have a chance to make their travel plans to be a part of the event. Thanks for your interest in a Triumph Owners fishing tournament!

I actually think that is a good idea. it was way to short notice for really being able to make plans and save money to get there. Plus It looks like hurricane season would make it a coin toss as to weather conditions. I hope things can get set up early next yr. I really need to get back out there
