Thumbs up New Forums now up and running

Greetings everybody!

In an effort to create an ever improving "Triumph Boat Knowledge Base" and not just a static web page... Randy today created some new forums and I sorted and moved a ton of postings to those new forums. The biggest separation was in the old 190/191-195 section into 2 new sections set up for for those related the hull types. As the 195 gains in market share, I suspect that in the future we will have to build a 195 section.

So I wanted to take the time to remind everybody of a couple of things this to make such improvements easier in the future as we better learn how to manage our valuable knowledge/data here.

1. Please take the time to review and edit if needed, your postings titles to denote the hull and year for your boat OR the boat in question if such applies. This makes searching though all the postings by eye so much easier and faster for everybody.

2. Please make sure you fill out the titles with the entire hull size and that they are complete such as "190 Bay" and not just 19 since 19 now applies to quite a few different hulls.

3. Please make sure you log out of the chat room when you all leave by clicking on the "X" on the top right corner of the chat box. More than once I have logged into to chat with somebody and found nobody home...

Hopefully with these new additions all of our members (new and old) will be able to search and find information much quicker that "applies" to your subject of choice. If you have any ideas for future fourms such as like "Trailers and Towing" please share your ideas with the group

Thanks again Guys!
Dave

Thanks Cincy, we love all your support!

Randy and I made a few more updates today and removed the old "Ideas" forum after I moved those old posting into the forums that each one best suited, and then created the "Trailer and Towing" forum since I have seen some many postings related to just those 2 subjects which should work out real nice

Now I have found a few trailer and towing posting in other forums that I have moved into the new one, but I have a lot more to browse through for sure. So if you guys see one that I have missed that needs to be moved, please let me know...

Thanks again everybody!

Dave

All updated,
After many hours of reading and sorting through all of the Boating and Fishing section forums. All threads now have been reviewed and moved (if needed) into there new respective sections.

Hopefully this will make it much faster to find the answers to your questions... On a side note; I saw many of the same questions posted on the same topic many, many, times across several of the boards so you may want to try using the site search tool before posting a question for I almost bet, it has has several good answers for it already

What was really nice too see, was all notes not only with questions that realted to "each" hull type, but all the trailer and towing questions and information that I found dropped across several of the old sections. I feel quite sure that with the added forums, answers to those type of questions (inculding towing) will be much qucker to find now even without the use of the site search tools.

Enjoy!
Dave
