Thumbs up "Ask the Factory" forum

I have created a new sub-forum for the Triumph 235 Center Console called "Ask the Factory". The folks at Triumph volunteered to field questions related to the new 235 CC. So if you have questions and want real answers (not speculation or rumor) ask them here. I'll forward them to the folks at Triumph and post their official answers here. Please note that this is a significant step from Triumph to work this closely with the owner's site and we will only be directing questions specifically about the 235. If this goes well maybe we can work on the same communication about the other lines.

Fire away with the questions folks!

Thanks guys. I started this forum last year prior to the 235's release. Since then I changed the name of the forum to just "Ask the Factory" but I forgot to change this thread announcement. I am now fielding questions for any boat model and contacting the factory about them using this forum.

I like the change and I "hope" that those threads / answers then make it to their respective forums once completed

Here is what I was told about the E10 eythanol by my dealer at hookedonthebay.com
I just purchased a used 170CC with a F75D Yamaha. My dealer (Hooked on the Bay) said because of the E10 eythanol fuels now, that I should use two additives AT ALL TIMES because of possible carbon build up with E10. They are PRI-G (1oz/16gal) and Star-Tron (2oz/16gal of gas). they are a little expense but go along way, and if they keep the engine purring then I am happy. I also have the inline fuel/water separator.
