Bow Rail option?

I have a question about "the bow rail" that is an option? See the attached photo. Is this standard? Or is this the optional bow rail?
This photo is from Triumph's website and reduced in size.

Also, in the photos of the Head area, there is a black panel forward of the Head. What is behind that panel? Access? Just a hole? If someone didn't have a Head in there, could someone put their legs in there and top half of your body in the Head area as a sleeping place? Just some thinking ahead if I could afford the 235.

The low bow rail is standard equipment. Not sure what the black panel forward of the head is referring to. Need more details.

....there are screws holding that darkness in place!
I've seen a better photo at a better angle showing the screws that hold that darkness panel in place.

Oh, That is a cover for battery compartment. There are also two black net type holders for odds and ends like charts etc. The head is big but not big enough to sleep in unless you can sit or stand and sleep too.
