Forget the walkarounds I want to see a Triumph hull that can handle twins! Say 135 Hondas or 140 suzukis. Of course if we could have both that would be cool too!

Personally, I would like to see a tunnel hull...coupled with the already shallow draft I feel that would be the untimate skinny water boat. But until then, my 170CC will be just fine.

I'm with you on the walk around. That's going to be my next boat and I'd like to stay with Triumph if I can.

I'm waiting on the 23 with an option for twins for serious off shore. The boat can handle it, but who wants to go 60 miles out with only one engine? I would take a walk around if it came with twins though.

Welllllll.............one engine is okay, that is why I have vessel assist, with a 150 mile free towing

Towing is a great option as I have it as well. However, it will not save our behinds if the conditions are bad and we loose our only engine. A little over a month back posted a thread about two guys that were lost at sea here in Texas, fortunately they were able to recuse themselves on the 3 day by swiming to an oil platform. But this was their situation, 23 foot mako (good boat) engine has troubles, seas 3-4 feet, period 4-5 secs. once the motor died on them 30 miles offshore, they had no way to control the boat so they took a wave over the stern and swamped them. They immedaitely donned their PDFs and started to call a mayday when the next wave flips them over. no eripbs, no secondary vhf, just them and their PDF. As a side note the USCG indicated the only way the survived those seas was that they had offshore rated type 1's.

This is a situation that could happen to any of us that fish big water. So if you look down a couple of post and you can see I am all for Triumph building a hull that can handle twins. In fact, I would most likely buy hull number 00000001.

I'm with you Piledriver. I'd love to make a Florida middle grounds run, but not with a single engine. It would take some steel cajones to make that trip, knowing you've only got a single screw to rely on. 25' walkaround with twin screws...now you're talking.
