Did the dealer remove it, what did they do about the mounting holes?
or was it not installed at all from the fac?

Hey Rob99. It wasn't installed from the fac. No holes. When building the boat on the Triumph web site its an additional $2,143.00 for the "Bow pulpit with anchor roller & high bow rail 1 1/4" 316 SS". It doesn't say anywhere that it replaces the low bow rail. Doesn't make sense to me.

Hmm, thats intersting to know, so essentially if you choose for the optional $2143 bow rail/pulpet combo the standerd rail is deleted, i would at least want to know that and maybe they could offer both

Okay I got the word from the factory on this.
Quote:
Currently on the 235 we only offer one or the other. The low profile bow rail is standard. If a customer wants the high bow rail they will automatically get the bow pulpit and the low rail is removed. $2143.00 is MSRP for the high bow rail and it adds the bow pulpit to the boat automatically (which is a $1057 (MSRP) option). Opting for the high bow rail replaces the low bow rail. If a customer were to keep the low bow rail (which is currently not an option), the high bow rail would be much more expensive. Basically we are subsidizing part of the cost of the high bow rail by subtracting the cost of the low rail.
I think the confusion came because of the pictures I posted from the factory when you asked if I could get some photos of the bow rail. The factory sent me photos of a early boat that they were setting everything up on. Thus it had both.

My boat came with the lower rails removed also. As you can see in the photo.

So why not offer the High Bow Rail with the option to keep the Low Bow Rail at an additional cost? Currently the website does not make this whole situation clear at all and makes no mention of a delete option for the low rail when choosing the High Rail option. If they want to charge extra for both I would be more than willing to pay if necessary. This matter needs to be clarified or there are going to be many annoyed customers expecting their boat to be delivered with both rails!
