Hull Mods and warranty

Ok, here are the only things I can think of that I am considering that may affect the warranty:

1. Install thru-hull mirroring the size and location of the baitwell pump thru-hull, on opposite side of transom, bed with Sudbury Elastomeric Sealant.

2. Drill through transom behind trim-tab brackets for hydraulic lines.

3. Install High-speed pickup for baitwell through Hull Bottom. Installation procedure would be:
a) Drill 1/4" hole through inner and outer hull

b) Drill 2" hole through Inner Hull and foam to inside of outer hull

c) Weld 2" dia. polyethylene block to inside of outer hull, block same thickness as foam+inner hull.

d) Weld Polyethylene block to inner hull

e) Drill 1-1/8" hole through outer hull and block, centered on the 1/4" hole.

f) Forespar Maretron Thru-hull installed in hole, bedded with Sudbury Elastomeric sealant, install Seacock on inside of hull screwed to polyethylene bock, plumbed to Dual-Port Baitwell Pump.

Let me know Before I start Cutting, lol

Check with your dealer before you start cutting.

If you look at some of the sales literature on Triumph boats, you will see where the top and bottom hulls meet and where they don't meet (the boxed areas that are filled with foam). I would guess that any hole made in the hull would have to be where the top and bottom meet. You may want to have a long talk with triumph before cutting.

Pamarine,
You can cut out #'s 3 a b c d &f if you want to. I went to a hardware store and bought some of the gray plastic elbows and couplers . They will screw right on the inlet for your baitwell pickup. Screw a coupler on the inlet for your baitwell Put an elbow that has a hose flange on it to the coupler. It should bring it out right to the bottom of the 170CC facing foward. Then shave the flange piece to pickup water as you are running. I wish I had saved a picture of my setup. It was so simple and worked perfectly.Find a hardware store that has the dark gray plastic fittings and play with it. It solves all of that drilling thru hull and lack of warranty you may incur

Transom Pick up

I already considered the pickup coming off the transom, but for asthetic reasons among others I decided on trying to mount the pickup through the bottom of the hull. Also, I would like to use the existing through hull as an overboard for a cockpit scupper. Thanks for the suggestion though.
